We congratulate all believers on this auspicious occasion of Shaban, the birthday of Hazrat Mahdi (a.t.f.s.) Our first vital duty before Allah is to honour His Will. How could we, creatures, dare to oppose the Almighty Allah when we are aware of the stories and destiny of unruly and stubborn people, as mentioned in the holy Quran and history. The drowning of Pharaoh, the death of Nimrud by a weak insect, the swallowing of Qaroon (Qorah) by the ground, and the calamities that befell the tribes of various prophets, were all to make the people honour the Almighty Allah and respect His Will. One of Allah's Wills, which Quran reminds about, is the leadership of the oppressed in the land and its inheritance by them. In the holy Quran, we read: "And We wished to do a favour to those who were weak (and oppressed) in the land, and to make them rulers (Imams) and to make them the inheritors. " (28:5) The Muslim scholars, well versed in the holy Quran, have mentioned in their respective books that this verse refers to the universal savior, hazrat Mahdi. At the end of time, (after various governments), he will rise and destroy injustice and tyranny and establish justice in every corner of the world. Finally, he and his followers will inherit the land. Verily, it is Allah's will that, by the blessed hands of Hazrat Mahdi justice should blossom in the land; and Islam should prevail over all religions and there remains no religion, belief, and school dominant over Islam. In another verse in the Quran, we read: "He, it is, Who has sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to make it victorious over all ( other) religion even though the polytheists hate it." Verily, Allah's Will prevails over the will of all people, leave aside the polytheists and disbelivers and whatever He Wills, will certainly take place. Looking at the world horizon, we see human beings who have become tired, shelter less, helpless and desperately fixing their eyes to the future. The weak and tired less bodies are just being pushed forward, visualizing and waiting for a day when these bodies will be again infused and enlivened. They are grazing at the horizon, at the place where a ray from the light is manifesting from the skies and is sitting at the top of the earth. With a regretful view of yesterday and a painful view of today, they breath at the hope and expectation of tomorrow. The happiness, pleasure and joy of tomorrow will most certainly compensate for the pain and grief of yesterday and today. Human being is living with hope and expectation. The trust and reliance live in the background of awaiting. Awaiting and reappearance with an eye on the promised Messiah becomes meaningful. All these is manifested and revealed on the 15th of Sha'ban. 15th of Sha'ban is the Grand Eid of humanity in this tumultuous and pandemonium world. 15th of Sha'ban is the clear horizon of reliance and trust in this dark and evil infested world. In this grand Eid of humanity, a new and unique world will appear and manifest.
