The Imams, prophets and those who have been selected by God are given attributes and advantages by Him which ordinary people don’t have. Jesus (AS) became a prophet when he was an infant: “And she (Mary) pointed to him, they said ‘how can a child in the cradle speak’. (Then Jesus said) I am Allah’s servant, He has given me the book and made me a prophet.” We see the same situation about Yahya (AS): “Oh Yahya, take hold of the book firmly, and we granted him wisdom while he was a child.”
