In the name of the Most high
Peace be Upon you, O
messenger of Allah and the Mercy of Allah and blessings be upon you. On that blessed nigh, Mecca was showered with the divine light. The angels would descend in groups, the stars were shedding tears of joy in a twinkling way at the Earth. It was as if the whole universe had become an eye and was looking and crying happily at Mecca and the house of Hazrat Ammena ( the mother of the Holy Prophet). The newly born child was coming to this house at a time when his father Hazrat Abdullah (A.S) had expired some months before.
But, tonight goy and
happiness had appeared in this house.
The chains of ignorance
and misguidance had been unlocked with the arrival of the Holy
Prophet (S.A). The Jewish and Christian scholars were anxiously waiting for his arrival. He had been named as “farqalith” in their holy books. ( Farqalith is a Greek word. It means that his doctrine and aim will be remembered in a pleasant and nice manner. He will be eulogized and praised. It is in the same context of Ahmad and Mohammad). The followers of the Holy Book were knowing him as they were knowing his children’s [ Baqarah: 147 ]. At the dawn of his birth, every idol on this earth had fallen from its place. The Sassanian king of Fars called Kasra shivered. Its fourteen pillars cracked. The Sareh take which was being worshipped for years by them became dry. The fire temple of Fars which was lighted and burning for thousands of years became extinguished.
The Almighty created him
with an adorned face and nurtured him with the best of character.
From the same childhood, the effects of Magnanimity and greatness were radiant in his illuminous face. During the adolescent age, he was so much honest and trustworthy that he was given the title of “ Mohammad – e – Amin”. Everybody would accept his arbitration and judgemant. On one of this occasions, the Holy Kaaba had broken down. After the repair and renovation, the time had come to put the Hajar- ul – Aswad ( the Black Heavenly Stone) in its place. Every tribe wished that the houour and fame of installing and fixing the hajar –ul- Aswad in its place should be registered for their clan. They with drew their swords and became prepared to stage a blood bath and combat. An aged man was amongst them. He told them to sit patiently so that an arbitrator would give his verdicts. All of them accepted. He said that the first person who enters from the door of Mssjid – ul – Haram will be arbitrator and his judgment will be final and binding upon all of them. Everybody looked anxiously at the gate. Suddenly, Hazrat Mohammad (S.A) entered. All of them became happy. They got up and expressed satisfaction and said that everybody accepts Mohammad Amin. Whatever he says will be accepted by us. The Holy Prophet (S.A) spread his Abu (men’s loose sleeveless cloak) on the ground and put the Black Stone amidst it. He took one representative from every tribe. He took one corner of the Aba and brought it near the holy Kaaba. The Holy Prophet (S.A) picked up the Hajar –ul- Aswad with his own hands and put it in its place. In such a way, the Holy Prophet (S,A) prevented a big war and blood bath and everybody were satisfied.
He was the most tolerant,
patient, courageous, compassionate and generous amongst the people.
If he was incapable of fulfilling their needs, he would appears and speak affably with them. He would caress and encourage them by soft and nice words.
He would not reply
badness and evil with the same answer. Rather, he would overlook it
and forgive them. He would observe the bonds of relationship with his family members. He would never refer or choose them over others. He would befriend the one whose piety to the Almighty was more.
He would never oppress or
treat unkindly anybody. During the nights, he would give food to the poor people without letting anybody know it nor poor people would recognize him. If an enmity had arisen between two people, he would make friendship and peace between them. In his gatherings and Majlis, voices would never be raised. Nor anybody would abuse or give indecent words to the others. He would respect and honour the old people as well as the children’s. He was always cheerful, soft natured and good natured. In behavior and ethics, he had reached to such a loft position that the people unparalleled and incomparable in social etiquettes. He would always say that a Muslim is having a right and moral obligation over the other Muslim. This right prevents him from back biting his Muslim brother. He would accept their invitations. He would reply to their letters and if anybody would die, he used to participate in their burial processions and ceremonies. He would say that if anyone was in a position to give loan, but evades and parries from this work, the said person has done injustice towards the Muslims. He would accord special attention towards cleanliness and hygienic matters. He would always brush his teeth. He would say that if one brushes his teeth before offering his Namaz ( prayers ), then the rewards and Sawab of that Namaz will be seventy times more. He would always keep short his nail fingers. He would always comb and keep tidy his hairs. He would always take bath and use sweet odor and scent. He would never spit on the roads and scent. He would always advice the people from refraining with such works. He would always says, that one should not commence eating food till he has become hungry as the stomach is the house of every ailment. His food was very little. He would think and ponder deeply. He would never speak unless replying or whenever the need arose. Whenever he spoke, he would always speak the truth and noting but the truth. He was full and comprehensive of the best qualities of goodness and worthiness. He married Hazrat Khadija (A.S) at the age of twenty five. He attained prophet hood at the age of forty when he was worshipping the Almighty in the Hara Cave. He was very kind and generous. He would grieve and express sorrow fullness at the disbelief and idol worshipping of the people. His grief was so much that the Holy Quran says.
“ we have not revealed
the Holy Quran to you that you may be successful [ Taha:2]”. “ therefore, let not their speech grieve you, surely we know what they do in secret and what they do openly.” [ Yasin :76 ]. When the Almighty wishes to say about the great affection and fondness of the Holy Prophet (S.A) towards his people. He says: “ certainly an Apostle has come to you from among yourself, excessively solicitous respecting you, to the believers (he is ) compassionate merciful”. [ Tauba: 128]. The Almighty introduces the Prophet (S.A) as in Universal example and pattern to follow for the entire humanity. It says “ certainly you have in the Apostle of Allah an excellent exemplar for him who hopes in Allah and the latter day and remembers Allah much”. [ Ahzab : 21 ]. The Holy Prophet (S.A) is to obeyed from every aspect in this world and the Here after. On various occasions, the Holy Quran reminds the people and associates the obedience of the Almighty with that of the Holy Prophet (S.A). “ And whatever the Apostle gives y6ou, accept it, and from whatever he forbids you, keep back, and be careful of (you duty to) Allah, surely Allah is severe in retributing (evil) [ Hashr: 7]. The Holy Prophet (S.A) devoted and spend his whole life in the way of the Almighty. He would endeavor and struggle in his path and all of his thinking and medication was for the Almighty.
The Holy Prophet (S.A)
had only one daughter. She was Hazrat Fatema Zahra (A.S). If the Holy Prophet (S.A) would recommend and enjoin upon the people about Hazrat Fatima (A.S), it was not from his own self. But, these instructions and enjoinment were from the side of the Almighty.
“ say: I do not ask of
you any reward for it but love for my near relatives”[ Shaura: 23].
WE HOPE TO REMAIN WITH
